Disclaimer: Everything is a hoodie (for now). MotorGo is a young company working to make robotics more accessible. We're building out the MotorGo ecosystem with better docs and support, but we can’t promise it’ll work for your specific setup. Products are sold as-is with no guaranteed support — please check the docs before buying. Thanks for your patience and support as we grow!

Why MotorGo Plink?
- All-in-One Solution: Combines motor control, encoder integration, and sensor support.
- More Options: Use it as a Raspberry Pi Hat or standalone - your choice.
- Open Source: Fully open-source hardware and software.
Ideal for:
- DIY Robotics Projects: Simplify small robots with motor and encoder control.
- Educators & Students: Perfect for teaching electronics and robotics concepts.
- Prototypers: Build and test ideas quickly with an all-in-one solution.
- Spin 4 DC Motors: Start small - spin 4 DC motors!
- Make motors hold position: Use EncoderGos to command positions to your motors.
- Haptics Knob: Tell 2 encoded DC motors to follow each other, turning your DC motors into a fun haptics demo! (set position target of motor 1 to current position of motor 2, and position target of motor 2 to current position of motor 1)
- Basic 4-wheel rover: attach 4 DC motors to a frame to make a basic 4-wheel rover. Program it to drive back and forth!
- Connect a Bluetooth controller: Connect a Bluetooth controller to your 4-wheel rover. Drive the rover back and forth with the controller.
- Add servo steering: Add a servo motor to steer your rover and update your Bluetooth controller to steer the rover.
- Make it a Pi-Hat: Install the Plink as a Pi-Hat on a Raspberry Pi and transfer your code from Arduino to Python using the MotorGo Python toolbox. Your rover just got loads smarter!
- Install a Lidar: Connect a Lidar like this one to your rover to start collecting information about the robot's surroundings.
- Install a camera: Install a Pi-Cam or similar to collect visual data. Use the Pi or the Plink's WiFi to stream Lidar and camera data to your computer.
- Make it autonomous: Use open source projects and libraries to build a simultaneous mapping and localization (SLAM) robot with simple DC motors. Map your room, and tell the robot where to go just by setting waypoints on the map from your computer!
